私のポートフォリオへようこそ。
私のCSUMBをご紹介します。
There were two main reasons I came to CSUMB: one was for my own personal achievement, and the other was to continue as with my California-issued Child Development Teacher Permit. I chose to become a Japanese major under the School of World Languages and Cultures. When I learned about Japanese language and culture I was surprised at myself, a Japanese person, for not knowing much about Japan. The courses here at CSUMB have expanded my knowledge, as well as deepened my interest in Japan and its culture. Additionally, I learned about Mexico's rich history and culture, and how to write articles as my required GWAR course has increased my English language ability. Furthermore, I have been learning more about various teaching techniques, classroom management skills from Japanese Special Topics and Projects class. From the Capstone project, I learned of the importance and difficulties that come with working in a team. It taught me the value of exceeding those difficulties.
So now, my goal is to be a Japanese Language and Culture high school teacher. I hope to learn much more and refine my skills. I have a passion for teaching because I know how rewarding it is for my students to benefit from my knowledge and experience. This journey still has a long way to go, but I would like to continue my journey with a positive state of mind. There are still some mountains I have to climb, but my experiences here at CSUMB have given me self-dignity, self-respect and confidence. I will try harder and will take my dream come true.
I would like to thank to the professors and staff here at CSUMB.
With their help I have received special honors, and for that I would like to extend my appreciation.
